Fortitude Music Hall

22 things on

The Fortitude Music Hall runs a tighter program than its Costin Street neighbour: 22 upcoming shows at 312 Brunswick Street, 19 of them music and the other three comedy. Dates fall fairly evenly across the week rather than clustering on the weekend. About half the shows are all-ages and half are 18+, and the age rule is set per event, so check the listing before you book.

Fortitude Valley station is about 200 metres away, a three-minute walk, and it serves every Brisbane line. Buses stop throughout the Valley, and the McWhirters car park sits directly behind the venue. It is a licensed room, so bring photo ID to every show. Bags larger than 30cm by 30cm are not allowed, DSLR cameras have to stay home, and reusable bottles must be empty and under 600mL. The hall is wheelchair friendly, with the main auditorium on the ground floor and a lift to the mezzanine; contact the venue ahead for any access needs.
