SeeBNE / Terms

Terms of use

Last updated 11 October 2026

By using SeeBNE (seebne.com.au) you agree to these terms.

Using the site

  • SeeBNE is for information only.
  • Event details come from organisers and public sources. They can change at any time.
  • We are not the organiser or the ticket seller for any event we list.
  • Please check the details with the organiser before you go.
  • We are not responsible for the events themselves, or for anything the organiser or ticket seller does.

Our content

Our write-ups and the site's design belong to SeeBNE. Please don't copy them without asking. Facts about events, such as the date and the venue, belong to no one.

Brisbane City Council data is used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0). See our Sources page.

Sponsored items are always labelled "Sponsored". Payment never affects our picks or the weekly roundup.

Sending us an event

When you send us an event, you confirm that:

  • you run the event, or you are allowed to send it on the organiser's behalf
  • the details are accurate
  • you own the text and photos you send, or you have permission to share them

You give SeeBNE a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, edit, crop and publish the text and photos. We use them on the site, in the newsletter and on our social media channels, to promote the event.

We may edit, decline or remove any submission. If we already list the same event, your submission may replace that listing or be used as its main source.

The newsletter

You only get the newsletter if you sign up for it. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.

We link to organisers, venues and ticket sellers. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for them.

Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using SeeBNE or relying on its listings. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
